The problem: barrier does not rise on remote control.

To verify the condition, bring the barrier up (manually). If the barrier is locked down, you will need to use the emergency key that came with the unit. Details in option 5 below. If the barrier is in the Unlocked position, just raise it manually until it locks in the up position.

Now send a remote command. The barrier should fall to the Unlocked state. The next step is to jump on the barrier twice. Make sure it is now in the Locked Down state by trying to lift the barrier manually; it should resist. If the barrier does not lock, see steps below.

  1   Batteries in PowerPod are low. Replace the 5 "D" alkaline batteries.

Once the electronics detects low battery conditon, it allows 50 up/down cycles (but with a 5 second delay), then shuts down the receiver in the Down position. The only way to reset the condition is the replace the batteries or to perform a boot with the boot switch.
