MySpot 200 is designed to handle a heavy car (Gross Weight of 5,000 lbs / 2.2 ton). The cast housings (pods) can easily handle this eight. The limiting element is the barrier itself.
The barrier is rated for 680 Kg (1500 lbs) maximum tire weight. However, if this tire weight is placed at the edge of the barrier, the plastic covers of the barrier will crack. Under normal driving conditions, the tires are placed far from either edge of the barrier, so that is not a real-life concern, but occasionally we do see some barriers with distorted ends and cracked end covers.
